Experience a cruise of geological and natural wonder aboard the Dolly Steamboat. The Dolly plies the inner waterways of spectacular Canyon Lake and is considered Arizona’s “Jr. Grand Canyon.” Listen as the captain recounts the legends and lore of the mysterious Superstition Mountains and historic Apache Trail. We routinely see bald eagles, desert bighorn sheep and an assortment of birds of prey and desert wildlife.

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your departure time. We will ask for your name upon arrival, and you will receive your boarding pass (es) at this time. Cell service is limited, so we recommend taking a screen shot of your confirmation. Seating for our Scenic Nature Cruise is determined in order of when you check in, on a first come, first serve basis. Seating for the dinner cruise is pre-determined.

No, parking Canyon Lake Marina for the Dolly does not require a parking permit.

We HIGHLY recommend using Google Maps, and input Canyon Lake Marina and Campground. We ask that you do not rely on any other map or GPS system, as they are known for taking you to the wrong location. Keep in mind that depending on traffic conditions, times may vary. Please give yourself an extra few minutes to insure you don’t miss your cruise! We ask that you arrive 30 minutes prior to departure.

YES! The lower deck and restroom are both wheelchair and scooter accessible. When booking a cruise, please let us know in the special needs area if you need special accommodations. We can accommodate folks of every ability. the Dolly Steamboat does have 2 wheelchairs available for use. Please ask for one on check-in.

No, due to Arizona State Law, no smoking, vaping or e-cigarettes are allowed.

You may bring your own water, but you cannot bring any other food or beverage. We do have a small snack bar available, and snacks are CASH only! And there is not an ATM at the lake. We carry a variety of chips, cookies, crackers and our delicious hot buttered popcorn! Drinks include juices, soda and alcohol.

We welcome trained service dogs that perform specific tasks for individuals with disabilities. Emotional support animals, therapy animals, and pets are not permitted.

*Transportation Advisory*
Due to our remote location at Canyon Lake, rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft may have limited availability for return trips. Although some guests are able to obtain rides, others have experienced difficulty securing pickup after their cruise. We recommend arranging your return transportation before arriving, as the Dolly Steamboat cannot guarantee rideshare availability or provide transportation services. -
The Dolly Steamboat runs rain or shine! In the event that we have to cancel due to a road closure, you will be allowed to reschedule to another date (subject to availability).
